Who we are

What we collect and why

When you use the contact form or book a call we collect your name, email address, company, website and what you tell us about your project. We use it only to reply to you, prepare a scope and quote, and keep a record of our conversation.

When we contact a business for the first time, we use contact details the business has published itself (for example on its website or business listing). We say where we found them, contact you once, and only continue if you say yes.

AI and your information

We use AI tools from established providers to help us read and respond to enquiries and to build client systems. We do not use your information to train AI models, and we choose providers that do not train on business data sent to them.

For client projects, what an AI system may see and do is written down in the project scope, and its actions are logged.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run this site and our email (our hosting and email providers), bound to protect it. We never sell personal information.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, or longer where the law requires for client records. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your rights

You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, and opt out of any marketing at any time by replying “unsubscribe” or emailing admin@peaksoftware.co.za. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforeg.org.za.
